I understand that by agreeing to join ICPA (Independent Cleaners Purchasing Alliance) that member compliance is the back bone of the Purchasing Alliance. Without member commitment and loyalty the group will not be able to continue to negotiate lower pricing since there will be no motivation for the vendors and suppliers to offer these favorable terms. As a member I will be rewarded for breaking SOME relationships that I may have with some of my current vendors and suppliers to purchase through the alliance. I realize that I am not being asked to pay more than I am currently pay for any item(s), and that I am not being asked to ONLY purchase from our Alliance vendors.
As a purchasing Alliance member I will have access to a variety of prices typically reserved for only bigger businesses and the larger nation chains, and sometimes pricing that is even lower. I agree to confidentiality in these prices and terms.
As a member of the purchasing alliance I understand and agree that I am seeking to improve the profitability of my business and to secure my businesses future in light of aggressive chains and under the table businesses that threaten the existence of businesses such as my own.
I understand that Alliance is free to deny membership or to cancel membership at any time to any person or company, if the membership in question would potentially compromise the essence of the organization. These actions will be based solely upon the Alliance steering committee`s discretion. |
